Italian designer Marco Guazzini designed the Prairie lamp by joining 3 segments of injected plastic. One was printed in black (for the base) and lighter shades of grey are the mobile segments, attached with a hinge. The mobile segments can be opened or closed, therefore modifying the light intensity. This Prairie prototype lamp was first exhibited at ‘Abitare il Tempo’ exhibition in Verona, 2012.
